Thai Refined Sugar (Icumsa45) This type of sugar is obtained by passing raw sugar through a purification process to further extract impurities from the crystals. Though similar to the process of white sugar, it has a higher purity with transparent white crystals, which has the color indices from 0 to 45 ICUMSA. Refined sugar is suitable for industries that require highly pure raw materials, such as pharmaceutical, beverage and energy-drink industries.
Thai White Sugar (Icumsa 46-100) This type of sugar is obtained by passing raw sugar through a purification process to further extract impurities from the crystals. It has a lighter color than raw sugar. With the color indices from 46 to 150 ICUMSA, its crystals have light brown or white color. It is generally used in soft-drinks and food processing industries as well as for household consumption
High Polarization sugar has a color index between 1,000 - 1,500 ICUMSA. It can be consumed without any further process needed. Generally, the sugar is put in sacks before being transported. It is priced lower than white sugar and refined sugar.
